Air Force One - US Presidential Aircraft

    Air Force One has been called the most famous airplane in the world.  Technically the term "Air Force One" refers to any Air Force plane that carries the President of the United States.  In common usage, it refers to specially equipped planes assigned to him.  There have been two.
VC-137  - The specially modified Boeing 707 used by Presidents Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Carter, Ford and Bush.
VC-25A - The specially modified Boeing 747 delivered to President Bush in 1991.  Since used by Presidents Clinton and George W. Bush.  
C-32A -  New Presidential Staff planes delivered in 1998 to replace earlier VC-137s.
